Samsung announced plans to release One UI 6.1, an update that debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, to customers who purchased select Galaxy devices at the beginning of the year.
The South Korean corporation made a hint about the One UI 6.1 update possibly being released in H1 2024, even if it didn’t provide an ETA. Finally, the release date for some of the One UI 6.1 devices that qualify has been revealed.
Samsung claims that the One UI 6.1 upgrade will be available for the aforementioned Galaxy phones by the end of March. The press release makes no mention of dates, but given that these are global releases that often occur in waves, it would have been extremely difficult to forecast.
Either way, the One UI 6.1 update ought to arrive on any of these Samsung tablets or phones by the end of March:
- Samsung Galaxy S23
- Samsung Galaxy S23+
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
With One UI 6.1, Samsung has finally started to spread out many of the Galaxy S24 AI capabilities to a larger audience, which is precisely what the company wanted.
Samsung wants to integrate Galaxy AI services such as real-time translation, chat assistance, Circle to Search, note assistance, and custom editing into the aforementioned phones.
