How to use the auto-scroll feature in TikTok.
Do you ever find yourself lying on your bed, scrolling through TikTok for longer than you intended, while putting off some important task that’s waiting for you on your desk? Well, TikTok has a solution for you. They have introduced a new auto-scroll feature that allows you to set your TikTok account to automatically move on to the next video after the current one ends. This way, you can sit back and relax while watching your favorite videos without straining your finger muscles from constant scrolling.
However, the automatic scrolling will pause if you come across a photo post, which means that you will have to manually swipe to continue scrolling. But don’t worry, as it will resume automatically after that.
Unfortunately, the feature is only available to a limited number of TikTok users as it is currently being tested. Therefore, it is unclear when or even if the feature will be released to all users.
How to activate auto-scrolling on TikTok
To access the auto-scroll feature on TikTok’s For You page, tap and hold on a video until the button for automatic scrolling appears.
To disable automatic scrolling on TikTok, press and hold the screen and choose “manual scroll”.
